STEAKHOUSE??

Not a chance…

How much do you spend when  you go to a Steakhouse? I remember when Rodney took me out to dinner at Lone Star Steakhouse in Clarksville, TN. we spent  a whopping $50 for both of us. I almost wasn’t able to digest my food. It’s too much to swallow.

When we were in Korea, I learned to cook our own steak. We used to buy T-Bone since it’s really good. You go to a steakhouse and an order of T-bone would cost you at lest $16.00. Now, I go to Foodland, it’s a grocery store close to us and I get Ribeye steak, and oh boy! it’s really good. At least twice a month, we cook steak and it would be a feast, since it’s a huge one. I just sprinkle it with Steak Seasoning with garlic, or any kind you want, and voila! it’s better than you get at the restaurant.  Rodney is so expert when grilling stak, he can cook it to perfection.

Just sprinkle it with the steak seasoning 15 minutes prior to grilling. This is my plate with corn and green beans. Rodney likes mashed potatoes and corn with his. Ribeye is great, perfect thickness too, with matching A-1 sauce. Yummm!

Sobrang hilig namin ni sis sa steak at mahal talaga pag sa sosyal na restaurant kakain kaya dun lang kami lagi sa mumurahin.hihihi! Mga Php180 ang T bone pag naman sa medyo class e aabot ng 900. Syempre mas mura talaga pag ikaw magluluto lalo na pag maramihan. Aside from steak sauce gusto din namin may gravy. Pano nga naman ba kami papayat nyan!

naku.. yan ang pinaka paborito ni mark, ate liz.. as in kaya nyang mag steak sunud-sunod.. pero i don't buy ribeye or t-bone.. haha!!! just the thin ones i also used for cooking other putahe.. mahal kase eh! hehe.. but i'm sure yours is better lalo na't kaya pala ni daddy rodney lutuin to perfection.. hhmm.. sarap!!!

@Kathy- it's really good, lalo kung i grill, nakaka busog lang, hahaha! kaya dito na lang kami s bahay nag i- steak, mahal sa labas, mas masarap pa ang luto ni Rodney, hehehe.

@Anney- Tuwing mababasa ko nga ang entry ni Peachy eh laging about food, hahaha! Aba eh medyo mangilin muna kayo sa pag kain at ng may manalo sa the biggest loser.. Balato ko ha kapag nanalo ka.

@AC- Super sarap ng ribeye or t-bone, ayaw ko ng thin, kasi di ko ma lasahan, hahaha! kaya nga once in a while lang ang steak nmin, can't afford kapag madalas, punit bulsa..Hahaha!

I seldom cook beef steak, Liz. The qualified meat is expensive here. We prefer fish steak like salmon and tuna. Do you have any recipes on fish steak?

naku dito din, Liz! grabe presyo ng steak sa resto. mabubutas bulsa mo. what's with the steak ba?! kung bibilhin mo naman ng hilaw e mura lang pero pag niluto na nila e sobra sa doble presyo.
