Normally, this recipe asks for Beef, but I like to cook pork steak better because it’s more tender and tastier. Beef has the tendency to get tough. The procedure is the same.
This is what I served for dinner last night, and my husband loved it, I did too, although I cannot eat this in a regular basis due to my high blood pressure, but once in a while is not going to hurt.
This meal is so easy to prepare:
2 lbs. Pork Steak (beef, chicken..)
1-2 medium sized onions (sliced)
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. ground pepper
1 tbsp. onion minced
1. Mix all the ingredients together except the onion and set aside for at least 4 hours or overnight and put in the fridge.
2. When ready to cook, pour some cooking oil in a pan and fry each pork or beef until it's cooked.
3. When all the pork or beef or what have you is cooked, pour the marinade into the pan together with the onion.
4. Let boil for at least 2 minutes.
5.. Pour the sauce on top of the Pork Steak.
6. Serve with rice.
